Qld lockdown extended after another 13 local cases

The lockdown in the southeast has been extended by five days after the state recorded another 13 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the cluster in Brisbane to 31 cases.

Seven of the new cases are students from Ironside State School and five are family contacts of that school.

The other case has also been linked to a confirmed case from the karate school that trains at Ironside State School.
