Gold Coast real estate: Luxury $1.Burleigh Heads prize home

ASPIRING millionaires are keeping their fingers crossed for a lavish $1.5 million home in Burleigh.

The latest Yourtown prize draw offers a chance to win a trendy home on 72 Ocean Pde.

Throw in $225,000 in gold bullion and more than $120,000 in furniture, with body corporate and rates paid for the first 12 months, and it’s not hard to see why this is the ultimate prize.

The new owners will be walking into a fully furnished, three-storey, four-bedroom tree house-inspired home, leaving relaxing the only job left to do.

Yourtown CEO Tracy Adams said Burleigh was chosen because it was one of the most-sought after areas on the Gold Coast.

“Getting to live in a luxury home hidden away but also in the middle of everything will give the winner a lifestyle many would envy,” she said.

Yourtown head of fundraising Tracey Gillinder said the people who were entering ranged from young families to retirees.

The home, which has never been lived in, has a gas fireplace, 2m ceilings and plantation shutters.

“We adapt styles to each property,” Ms Gillinder said.

“We have a broad demographic that buys our tickets and every house has a different personality.”

The contemporary home includes two ensuite master bedrooms and one bedroom with its own private entrance.

“It is a really flexible design that works really well as a home office to have clients over, or even as a guest room,” Ms Gillinder said.

Tucked away beneath treetop greenery, the home overlooks an inlet from Tallebudgera Creek. The prize will be drawn on September 5.

Yourtown, formerly BoysTown, provides services to young people to find jobs, learn skills and tackle mental health and family and domestic violence issues.
