Robina is Abuzz with Development and Infrastructure Activity – and it’s not Slowing
Robina has been a hive of activity over recent years, with the completion of a number of projects by Robina Group including CityVillage, Botanique and The PC. A number of commercial, medical, retail and infrastructure projects have also been completed or are underway in this thriving central Gold Coast City community. As you look across the Robina skyline, you’ll notice a number of cranes hard at work and there are thousands of new jobs being created which is supporting the local economy. The below is a summary of just a handful of the many projects underway.
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Vue Terrace Homes
The new $170 million Vue Terrace Homes is a secure, gated residential community under construction on the eastern side of Stadium Drive. It is overlooking the new Robina City Parklands (see below), opposite the Robina Train Station and transport hub. Stages One and Two of the Robina Group development are due for completion in early 2019. There is only a handful of three bedroom plus media, two level homes, remaining for sale in these first stages. The parkside community will feature resort-style facilities with a swimming pool, sheltered relaxation zones and barbecues, set among tropical landscaping and decking. The management rights for the Vue community recently set a sales record for Robina. The Vue sales and display centre is open daily.
M1 Motorway Upgrade
The Mudgeeraba to Varsity Lakes M1 Pacific Motorway upgrade is well underway to improve connectivity to and from Robina north to Brisbane and south to Gold Coast Airport, northern New South Wales and beyond. Since this update, the new Stapley Drive bridge has been completed and the old one will be replaced with a second new bridge.
Bunnings Hardware
We’re beyond excited to welcome this home improvement superstore to Robina, with the opening so close we can almost smell the sausages… mmmm.
Japara – 106 Bed Aged Care Facility
Construction is ticking along on this new $30 million development on Scottsdale Drive, close to the Easy T Centre.
