THE market for waterfront property is running hot with agents nailing a number of deals for impressive properties across the Gold Coast.
A MANSION at Sovereign Islands has sold for $5.1 million to Gold Coast high-profile equestrian couple Ken Dowsett and Linda Spratley.
Property records show the pair bought the four-bedroom, three-bathroom property at 7 Knightsbridge Pde West, from Bond University assistant law professor Francina Cantatore and her husband Angelo, late last year.
The waterfront property named Santosha — Sanskrit for contentment — was designed by Noosa architect Paul Clout.
It was sold through Professionals — Vertullo Real Estate sales agent Chris Moyer and features a cinema, cellar, library, wet bar, pool and pontoon.
It also has a basement garage for eight cars.
Elsewhere, Wayne and Angela Soutar, the team behind Soutar Video Production, have snapped up a property at Sorrento owned by Jennifer Poppleton.
Wayne is a seven-time Logie award winner for pre and post-production video work.
He is also the winner of three Gold Coast and Regional Media Awards.
